Record. Reflect. Refine.

Effective date: 2 September 2026Organisation: EPC Education Pte Ltd

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Koppii, an audio-based teaching reflection platform operated by EPC Education Pte Ltd ("EPC Education", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using Koppii, you agree to these Terms. Do not use Koppii if you do not agree to them.

1. Purpose of Koppii

Koppii supports authorised trainers and administrators in recording or uploading lesson audio, generating transcripts, reviewing AI-assisted observations, and reflecting on teaching delivery over time.

Koppii is designed for trainer development and programme-quality support. It is not a student-facing service and must not be used for facial recognition, student profiling, or solely automated employment or performance decisions.

2. Authorised access and accounts

You may use Koppii only if you have been authorised by EPC Education or the organisation responsible for your programme delivery.

  • Keep your sign-in links, account access, and devices secure.
  • Use only your own account and do not share access with another person.
  • Provide accurate account and profile information.
  • Notify an administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.

We may suspend, restrict, or deactivate an account where access is no longer authorised, these Terms are breached, or it is necessary to protect the platform, its users, or personal data.

3. Recording authority and responsible use

Before creating or uploading a recording, you must confirm that the required site notice, organisational approval, and recording authorisation are in place.

You and the organisation responsible for the session remain responsible for ensuring that recording is appropriate for the location, participants, and programme. Do not use Koppii to record sensitive discussions, personal student information, or material unrelated to the stated training-quality purpose.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Upload audio or content that you do not have the right or authority to use.
  • Use Koppii to harass, discriminate against, profile, identify, or unfairly evaluate an individual.
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the platform, or access another user’s data without authorisation.
  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or in a manner that breaches applicable policies, contracts, or laws.
  • Misrepresent AI-assisted observations as definitive findings or use them as the sole basis for a material decision about a person.

5. AI-assisted transcripts and reports

Koppii uses authorised third-party providers to transcribe audio and generate structured, AI-assisted observations and reports. The providers, processing purposes, retention approach, and overseas-processing information are described in the Koppii Privacy Policy.

AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or context-dependent. They are intended to support reflection and coaching and are not a substitute for professional judgement, direct observation, or a formal performance-review process. An appropriate human should review relevant outputs before relying on them for coaching, management, or other material decisions.

6. Roles and access

Access is role-based. Trainers may access their own authorised recordings, transcripts, reports, and submitted feedback. Authorised administrators may manage user accounts, activities, records, processing issues, and retention in accordance with organisational responsibilities.

Administrators may delete or restrict access to records where necessary for operations, privacy, security, support, or compliance.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain responsibility for the audio and other materials you submit to Koppii. By submitting content, you grant EPC Education and its authorised service providers a limited right to store, process, and display that content solely to operate, support, secure, maintain, and improve the Koppii service and its teaching-reflection framework, as described in the Koppii Privacy Policy.

Koppii, its platform design, teaching framework, reports, branding, and related materials are owned by or licensed to EPC Education, except where otherwise stated.

8. Privacy and retention

Our handling of personal data, provider processing, and retention periods is described in the Koppii Privacy Policy. Authorised administrators may delete records earlier where appropriate.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep Koppii available and reliable, but the platform may be changed, updated, interrupted, or unavailable from time to time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for operational, security, legal, or product reasons.

10. Disclaimers and limitation

Koppii is provided for authorised training and operational use. To the extent permitted by law, EPC Education does not guarantee that the service or AI-generated outputs will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Koppii develops or where required by law. The latest version will be available within Koppii. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
